MArch Part 2 Year 1
In this project, I explored and research digital design and manufacturing. The project explored the use and limitations of robotics, material testing and experimentation as a printing material, and custom repetitive manufacturing.
Brief 1
This project is a biomachine, which is a mixture between nature, technology and humans. The project tries to have a positive impact in people’s well-being and try to improve their mental health while being environmentally conscious. It proposes alternative energy sources and new materials to be more environmentally friendly.
Brief 2
The proposal is located in Stratford, a growing area of east London. The project proposes an infrastructure project around Stratford station, one of the busiest stations in London, that is in much need of an expansion. The proposal uses the unoccupied space above the train tracks. The project aims to tackle the growth that is expected in the area of Stratford. Proposing a bast public realm over the train tracks, an alternative energy source that powers the area, the production and use of sustainable building materials and digital manufacturing.
