Material Testing

We were looking towards quantifying the difference in ‘strength’ between the clay being fired or not and whether alcohol made a difference instead of water. We performed 3 different tests: tension, compression and 3 point bending. A different, more suitable shape was used for each test. In the end, we compared results to see which one was the strongest.
